Bedbugs!!! Not in my Bed!

After the Initial Denial

Bed bugs and lice both have us as parents crawling out of our clothes, washing everything insight, and constantly scratching. I don't know how many times I would ask my husband to check my head when my daughter got lice from her cousins. I am going to let you in on a secret.
 MY HOUSE IS CLEAN!!!
MY CHILDREN TAKE A BATH EVERYDAY!!
Why is it that we think that these blood suckers are only after someone who is dirty or has a dirty house? They are not picky. They will suck every-ones blood given the chance.

So what do we do for Lice?

Best thing to do is first try to avoid them and do everything possible to repeal them. But how? Bring a towel to put across the back of the movie theater chair. Wash your hair with Melaleuca Original Shampoo and lice will stay far away. And if for some reason; let's say You Use Someone's Hairbrush that had lice and now you have them. What to do? What to do? Well now you bring out the mighty T36-C5 add to scalp and saturate your hair with Melaleuca Original Shampoo and let it stay on your head a minimum of twelve minutes. Comb out all those dead bugs and repeat process day 5, 10, 15 and 20. Sounds like a lot but it works!! Launder bedding and clothing in hot water, and dry on the hottest setting. Spray diluted Sol-U-Mel all over your carpet and fabric furniture. For safe measure get rid of all hairbrushes and headbands and hats that have been worn. You could let Them soak in the sink with Sol-U-Mel and HOT water and put in the hot sun to dry. I just throw mine out for safe measure.

Treatment for Bedbugs in your House.

The Melaleuca Wellness Guide suggests that you pull the bed and headboard away from the wall. Smear the bed frame legs with petroleum jelly. Buy extra vacuum bags. Do a daily thorough vacuum of the seams in the mattress, the box spring, the headboard, baseboard, and floor. After each vacuuming, seal the used vacuum bag in plastic and discard. Launder bedding and clothing in hot water, and dry on the hottest setting. Spray the mattress and surrounding with Sol-U-Guard Botanical or Sol-U-Mel. Be vigilant because bedbugs hatch in 6 to 17 days. When traveling bring your new friend Sol-U-Mel with you are spray down the floor, headboard and of coarse the bed.
